Elegant and weightless, these earrings are made with faceted Sapphire, silk, and polyester thread. They are produced using the 18^th century technique of tatting, or shuttle lace. Using fingers and a shuttle, tatting produces an interlacing of rings and chains formed by knots, creating extremely intricate patterns. Each pair of earrings are handmade by European artisans using semi-precious stones, silk, and polyester threads. The earring hooks are 14k gold plate overlaying brass.
